Bobcat to close North Dakota plants
October 23rd, 2008 by Johnathan

The iconic North Dakota manufacturer, Bobcat, has announced it will close its doors for at least six weeks beginning December 15, citing slow economic conditions.

It might be more than just the downturn, though — rumour has it there’s a lawsuit pending between Doosan, Bobcat’s present owner, and Ingersoll-Rand, the old owner, over the inventories built up in the time prior to the merger.   Are the best jobs in North Dakota now in the crossfire?
